Yesterday I found out that my brother and his girlfriend are having a girl! So now I have not one but two nieces on the way..one is due in April and the other in July! Then I'll have two nieces and two nephews total..How cool is that??
I'm really confused about the other job thing. Now I'm having doubts because 1. I'll lose my good health insurance, even if I kept my current job part-time...2. I found out that some of the annoying co-workers I was escaping from also got jobs there! Grrrrr...3. The incertainty that I'll be able to make money there. I'm just afraid that I'll have to deal with the same crap in a new place where there's no guarantee that there will be lots of business, at least not like where I work now. I've never disclosed where I work, but I'll just say that no matter what, the place brings in people and always has been the busiest restaurant there. Even if it's a blizzard, people will come in..I know that from experience. I highly doubt this new place will be like that.
Believe me, I don't want to stay at my current job, but I don't want to leave it for less money and the same restaurant shenanigans..Because no matter what, all restaurants are basically the same. So now I'm torn. The new schedule comes out tomorrow at work, and because they make the damn thing a month in advance, I'm already on it until the second week in March. So we'll see..
Oh, and the 75% off Valentine's Day candy selection was awesome, by the way!

The health insurance would be the deciding factor for me. Can you wait till the new place has been opened for a bit (to determine how much business it may do, working conditions, etc.) before making a decision? PP
