Hypocrisy

I found out today that two people at work were fired for scamming. Both had been with the company for over 10 years. One worked in the office, and the other was a server/"lead trainer".

The server always had a self-righteous attitude, always pointing out things that others should not be doing or were doing the wrong way. I don't know the details of the scam, but it turns out they were working together.

I've seen others in the past being fired over scams. It's always the people who don't really "need" the money: They live with their parents and don't pay rent, etc. I remember this server a couple of years ago who always had designer purses all the time..Always different ones, and they were real. I wondered how she could afford them..Then I found out that she was fired for scamming. (She lived with her parents too.) Guess that's how she got all those Coach bags!

Dumbasses.

It doesn't make sense, but you are right ... it seems that those who really don't seem to need it are the ones who go down that road. I can't help but wonder ... drugs? gambling?

2 employees skimming for over 10 years, and no one caught it till now? Makes one wonder what else is going on there. Peggy

It never ceases to amaze me that people play scams... Although it's truely sad that they'd been with the company for so long! I can't get over how people honestly think they can get away with so much and NEVER get caught. Some people are just so selfish!
