In my last post I was crying about having no visitors to this blog and then I go and be all lazy and ignore the damn thing..I mean who wants to read crap from a week ago over and over again?? (Well I have done that with "Star" magazine before.)
Anyway, sorry for the lack of posts. So here's some boring stuff I actually took note of this week to blog about:
-Did you see the commercial for that stupid Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie coming out?..Oh sorry, they're simply called "TMNT" now. Yeah changing the name to just the initials is just so 2007 of them. That'll make them more appealing 20 years later..Just give it up and think of something new!
-I am pretty sure I'm going to ban "American Idol" from my television after next week. I swear, if Sanjaya is still on there, that. is. it.
-And what is up with the way the television stations run the seasons on shows now? Remember the good 'ol days when the new season of your favorite shows started right around Labor Day, took a break around January and February or so, and ran until around May? And if a show ended for good, remember how they had a series finale? Why don't they do this anymore?
One of my favorite shows "The King of Queens" was supposed to be in its final season now, but the abbreviated season of half the normal amount of shows wasn't even shown in its entirety..Now it's on the back burner at CBS and might be shown as a mid-season replacement, but probably not. That sucks, because I really liked that show, and it was on since 1998 and should be given a proper series finale.
Another new show I grew to really like is "Men in Trees", and the fate of this show is up in the air. I'm hoping it will return next fall, but it already got pulled off the schedule in order to show some crap called "October Road". (Yes, I watched it, and yes it sucks.)
-The weather here has been crazy. I know March can be like that..In 2002 we got a couple of feet of snow dumped on us in March. The other day it was literally over 80 degrees, and last night, it was sleeting and snowing..Oookay.
-Last night I drank alcohol for the first time since October. (A co-worker was leaving the restaurant and moving to another state.) I had 3 beers and 2 shots, and all I can say is UGH. I've said it before and I'll say it again: My body does not like alcohol.

Your body doesn't like alcohol? What a shame!
Yeah but it loooves maryjane! LOL
LMAO!!!
That's a huge bummer about "The King of Queens". Even if it's stats sucked for this final season, like you said, this show did great for a looong time and deserves a series finale.
I don't know if you caught the series pilot of "The Winner". I laughed at it, but then realized how mean the jokes were and that sitcoms now are trying constantly to "push the envelope". I gotta face it. They'll never be another "Growing Pains" or "Family Ties" out there. Ever. :(
“The King of Queens” may no longer exemplify a cultural trend. But people watch it. According to CBS, 8.7 million viewers tune in each week. After tonight’s episode, the series goes on hiatus until April 9; it’s expected to do as well or better for its seven valedictory episodes.
**From the "NY Times". I also read (somewhere) that Adam Sandler is going to guest on one of the episodes. I agree, this show is great and its never got the "props" it deserves. Peggy
I CAN'T BELIEVE SANJAYA IS STILL ON THERE OHDEARGOD. argh
I saw this show on Fox last night that I really liked: Wedding Bells. It is about wedding planners and it was written by David E Kelley who does Boston Legal. He is BENT! But he is creative.
