A couple of weeks ago, on a whim, I decided to apply for college. I applied online to a university that I was thinking of transferring to 10 years ago, after I graduated from community college.
I requested my transcripts, had them mailed to the university, paid the registration fee online, and filled out the financial aid forms online too. I did all this without thinking too much, or worrying like I have in the past: How am I going to pay for college? Is it going to take me forever to get my Bachelor's degree?
I just decided to take everything as it comes..and I'll worry about the rest later.
I got my acceptance letter from the university in the mail the other day. I figured I would be accepted, but for some reason I thought that maybe my 3.74 GPA wouldn't mean as much because it was so long ago, but I guess I was wrong!
Anyway, it felt really good to get that letter.
