You know what sucks? Having to stand outside in freezing temperatures and wait for a bus to go to work when I know I'm not going to make any money. My section today is in what they call the "covered terrace", and I'll be surprised if they open it at all because the cold air just whips right in..The tables are freezing, and even though there are heaters above, they are pretty much useless when it's this cold outside.
I'll be really pissed if they close my section as soon as we open..A "free meal ticket" isn't really going to make me forget that I had to get out of my warm bed and go out in 14-degree weather (and that's without the wind chill!) for no money!
Update: It wasn't a waste of time..My section was sunny so that helped a lot! I made $65..Better than nothing, right?
