I've had this blog for 7 months now and I have come to the conclusion that it is the most boring blog ever! I've decided that if I had more pics it would be more interesting (yeah pics of boring stuff! I want to post the contents of MY purse, too, you know!)
Problem is, I don't have a camera! And I want one! And I know nothing about digital cameras!
Anyone have any suggestions on a decent digital camera for a beginner photographer on a budget?

See, it's time to have a child. I had nothing to blog about until I had Ben, and y'know, that's entirely why I decided to have a baby. ha!
As for cameras, the Cannon Elph series is pretty good. We have an older Elph model and it takes great pics and is easy to use. Whatever you decide on, I emphatically recommends going with a model that comes with a rechargable battery.
ahhhh! There we go! My suggestion is to go to Best Buy or Circuit City and talk with someone in the camera department. They are usually pretty good about ferreting your needs and recommending a camera to fit. They may ask about your computer so they can work that out, too, so go with information in hand. Also, I agree with leanne about Cannon. They have some nice ones, inexpensive, yet good for most purposes. Good luck!!
